Homeowner Liability Clause

I understand and acknowledge that Remodeling Referral Services, LLC is a contractor referral service. Prior to any contractor member being referred per my submitted job request, Remodeling Referral Services, LLC will have pre-screened each contractor per their requirements of being approved as a Contractor Member of Remodeling Referral Services, LLC. I understand and acknowledge that Remodeling Referral Services, LLC does not take part or favor one Contractor Member over another during negotiations between Contractor Member and me.
I understand and agree that the Contractor Member(s) identified by Remodeling Referral Services, LLC are independent contractors and not employees of Remodeling Referral Services, LLC. It is understood and agreed that I will have decided for myself that the Contractor Member qualifies for the scope of work I require for each job request submitted to Remodeling Referral Services, LLC.
I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Remodeling Referral Services, LLC for any alleged defect in workmanship, default, damage, injury, and/or expense arising out of work performed by the selected Contractor Member referred through Remodeling Referral Services, LLC.
